Up for sale is my vintage Omega Seamaster 300 ref. 166.024, one of the most iconic dive watches ever produced and a true cornerstone of Omega's tool watch history. Introduced during the 1960s, the Seamaster 300 was designed for professional diving and military use, earning a reputation for its robust construction, exceptional legibility, and timeless design.
This example features the highly sought-after "Big Triangle" dial, with beautifully aged tritium lume that has developed a rich creamy patina throughout the hour markers and broad arrow-inspired hands. The black bezel remains crisp and legible, while the symmetrical no-nonsense dial perfectly captures the spirit of Omega's golden era of dive watches.
The watch is currently fitted to a black leather strap, giving it a refined vintage appearance while allowing the classic Seamaster 300 design to take centre stage.

Why Collectors Love the 166.024
The Seamaster 300 ref. 166.024 is regarded as one of Omega's finest vintage dive watches. Powered by the dependable Calibre 565 movement and featuring the larger 42mm asymmetrical case, it represents the final evolution of the original Seamaster 300 before Omega transitioned to later generations.
The Big Triangle dial is particularly desirable among collectors, with its bold 12 o'clock marker, exceptional legibility, and unmistakable military-inspired aesthetic. Genuine examples with attractive patina and strong originality have become increasingly difficult to source, making the 166.024 one of the standout references in vintage Omega collecting.
